It is a pleasure and honor to write the editorial for this supplemental issue of Journal of Pharmacy and Bio-allied Sciences to be released in early 2015. This medical and dental supplement issue is the fruit of labor by the Medical and Dental Faculty of Bharath University, Selaiyur, Chennai. This supplement issue is the elaboration of abstracts of posters and presentations submitted on the Science Day celebrated by the member institutions of Bharath University at Sree Balaji Dental College and Hospital, Chennai, Tamil Nadu in November 2014. The authors have really worked hard to produce world class quality articles and are to be thanked for that. More than that, they suffered my pestering good-naturedly and braved the deadline to complete the formalities of submission.
The articles were checked for plagiarism and were peer-reviewed by medical and dental journals team (Journal of Multidisciplinary Dentistry and Indian Journal of Medical Sciences) of Bharath University Chennai Tamil Nadu. The initiation and co-ordination of this scientific publication were executed in a meticulous fashion by Prof. Dr. G. J. Anbuselvan., Supplement editor - JPBS to whom I am indebted forever. The core strength for this whole endeavor was provided by Dr. Himanshu Gupta (www.opubs.com) and Medknow Publications. The coordination of executive members Dr. S. Bhuminathan, Dr. N. Aravindhababu and Dr. E. Rajesh, were excellent without whose spade work, this monumental task would have proved impossible.
www.jpbsonline.org had been continuously bringing out dental supplements August 2012 June 2013 July 2013 July 2014. This is the latest addition of medical and dental supplement to its readers. These supplements have played very useful for a dental and medical fraternity alike. These supplements will provide more interesting dental and medical literature in this part of the world for the readers and authors.
