The Case Report titled "Successful Nonsurgical Management of Periapical Lesions of Endodontic Origin: A Conservative Orthograde Approach" published in Journal of Pharmacy and BioAllied Sciences, on pages 246-251, Volume 9, Issue 5, 2017,[1] is being retracted because of having a figure without due permission from another case report titled "Non-surgical management of a large periapical lesion using a simple aspiration technique: a case report", published in International Endodontic Journal, 4 May 2010.[2] Plagiarism, fabrication, duplication, unethical or redundant publication violates the editorial policy of Journal of Pharmacy and BioAllied Sciences, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work.
This article has been retracted on request of the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial board of the journal.
